Can you see your feet?
As your belly is swollen with the spirit of Ibeji.
Two beings pressed against your tummy.
Leaving footprints on your womb,
You are full.
Does Jay paint your toes?
Humble he sees you as a reflection of God, from your hips to your nose.
He understands you're carrying lives that are carbon copies of both of your souls
Does he kneels in front of your fullness giggling as you stride for stillness?
And Blue Ivy stands as witness?
Have your arches fallen?
Because i see being a mother is like standing for the people you love.
Hands full of force planted on your hips.
And although your feet are swollen,
Arms are heavy, breast are tender
You still create food and gems,
To nourish all your children.
To all mother's - Amen!
